Alight

And there was Light, alright.  Deep within the Light that had ever been there had suddenly become a reality, and that was only possible through darkness all around.  For only by descending into the deepest darkness is it that we can discover the Light within.

It changes everything.

First, there's perception, and that is so overwhelming that one is blinded from within.  Then, gradually, comes thought, and by the time one has succeeded into verbalising thought into word, the inner structures of old have begun to crumble, and the process of transformation has irrevocably commenced; the new being is about to be born; about to rise from the ashes like the Phoenix of old.

He who would be en-Lightened must be prepared to be consumed by that which he seeks - for that which he seeks was ever within him, and only total transformation can bring en-Lightenment.
